One optional add-on is being able to automatically backup your mail to separate backup files. It extracts Exchange Server mail data to separate PST files, allowing you to restore individual mailboxes and "drag-and-drop" individual emails, calendars, tasks, notes and contacts back into your Exchange Server in minutes rather than hours.
There is also the SQL add-on. This enables BackupAssist to backup Microsoft SQL Servers, which allows you to have live, online backups of your SQL Server databases, include the SQL backups in your overall backup job, perform a restoration on any SQL server and also restore individual databases to different SQL servers.
Finally there is the advanced open files add-on. With this you can overcome the issues of backing up open or locked files. This is open file management solution with ensures you have complete protection for all your mission critical data by taking a snapshot of your data before commencing the backup. This makes sure that all locked, open and in-use business critical data files can be easily backed up without taking users offline or interrupting any systems that are currently in use.
