Accent Fresh
Accent Fresh supply fresh produce to a many of the regions restaurants and caterers. They were told by Sage that Line 50 would no longer support their business because they were generating to many transactions for the software.
AKM designed a system which integrates Line 50 to a custom ordering system. The IMS synchronises products, offers, special pricing, discounts and customers daily from Sage Line 50.
Accent Fresh receive most of their orders over the phone so it was very important to have an order entry screen that was quick and easy to use. To solve this we used an intuitive layout while ensuring no loss of functionality. Orders can be entered by using the keyboard alone!
Following order entry, despatch notes and picking lists are generated and invoices produced. The system then outputs invoices straight into Line 50 invoicing avoiding the need to re-key data.
Wash Me Iron Me
Wash Me Iron Me provide laundry services to public and commercial customers. Wash Me Iron Me grew substantially in a very short period of time and very quickly found their existing paper based billing and order management system became un-manageable.
AKM designed and built a custom solution to manage the ongoing expansion of the business with only minimal investment. The system allows Wash Me Iron Me to record regular and ad-hoc orders. With the use of reports Wash Me Iron Me can now accurately plan the daily work. This allows easy order tracking and saves a great deal of administration time. Once work has been completed on an order the system then manages despatched goods and invoice generation through to Sage accounts.
Since implementing the system Wash Me Iron Me have been put forward a number of start-up business awards and have continued to expand.
